OCTOBER 17, 2014 -- Greetings Grange Friends!
It’s been a summer that’s been full of fun!
In early August I was in the Moosup Annual VJ Day Parade with Ekonk Grange. What a fun experience. Then I made the trek out to the Sharon/Cornwall area and visited with my new friends at Taghhannuck Grange. I had a front row seat for the meeting! What a nice bunch of Grangers!
I got to hang out at the Goshen Fair over Labor Day weekend, greeting lots of new friends! That was so much fun!
On September 6th, I got to see my very first Installation of Officers. My hostess, Jodi Ann Cameron was installed as Master of Quinebaug Pomona Grange #2. Oh my gosh, what a meeting. The Installation of Officers is very impressive.
I attended the Reorganizational Meeting of Litchfield Grange on September 10th. It’s such a great feeling watching a Grange come back to life!
I then attended the Installation of Officers ceremony at Winchester Grange. Jeff Barnes and Jody Cameron do part of the Installation Ceremony by candlelight. It’s makes for a lasting impression.
I spent some time at the Big E. It was nice to see some of my Herd Friends from the region, and I even helped Claire Logan clean the New England Grange Building. I marched in the parade during Grange Day at the Big E too with my longtime friends from Hillstown Junior Grange.
