| NOTE
-- The State Master appoints a Deputy force as his eyes and ears across the state -- to properly encourage and advance Grange work and activities. The duties of the Deputies shall be to organize and reorganize Granges, to see that duly elected Officers of Granges are properly installed, and to aid in the conduct and promotion of all Grange meetings and programs. They shall be vigilant that no disorder shall exist in the Granges within their jurisdiction. |

Public Relations: Capturing the media's attention
JUNE 20, 2013 -- Understanding how the media works, what makes news interesting to the pubic, and how to make the news is valuable knowledge for any Grange. Favorable media exposure means recognition in the community, acknowledgement of Grange activities, services and accomplishments and a higher profile of your Grange among potential members.

Deaf Awareness Grant available to CT Community Granges
JUNE 15, 2013 -- The National Grange Foundation has developed a special fund specifically for the purpose of supporting deaf activities within the Grange. They are offering Grants to Community Granges through their respective State Granges to fund various deaf awareness projects.
