Information / Publicity Mission Statement ...

The mission of the Information Committee shall be to dissemminate information on the activities, programs and services available from the Connecticut State Grange. The committee shall provide the following:

1. Inform the general public that the Grange is a family and community service organization with a special interest in the betterment of agriculture and mankind.

2. Inform the general public of the activities of the Local Granges throughout Connecticut by utilizing the Grange's website and the Internet.

3. Publicize the "grass roots" Legislative Program of the Grange.

4. Inform the general public of the services available to the members of the Grange:

- Insurance Services
- Prescription Drug Services
- National Grange Visa Credit Cards
- Pre-Paid Legal Services
- Beltone Hearing Aids
- Student Loans and Scholarships
- Discounts on Hertz Rental Cars & Choice Hotels
- Merchandise at the Grange Store
- Discounts on Verizon and T-Mobile Wireless Telephone Services
- Youth Camping Program at Camp Maud Isbell Berger in Winchester Center, CT.

5. Use the services available as a Membership Development tool.

6. Advertise the various contests sponsored by Committees of the Connecticut State Grange.

7. Keep the media informed of the Community Service work in progress by the local Granges in Connecticut.

8. Publicize the dates and locations of the various Agricultural Fairs that are sponsored by the Granges in Connecticut.
