How are your entries coming?

MAY 3, 2013 -- I hope that everyone has been working feverishly on completing their needlework and craft projects.  June will be upon us before we know it.  I have been pleasantly surprised by the interest in the National Grange Quilt Square contest.

APRIL 3, 2013 -- For those who are interested, here is the pattern for the quilt block. The center of the block is red with the diamonds and large triangle going out from the center also red.

Family Activities Notes ...

	Did you Know ... The Family Activities theme for 2013 is "Over, Under, and Around the Sea"

	Family Activities Projects ... The Family Activities Committee coordinated many projects for each Grange to undertake throughout the year. These projects include the Country Store at the New England Grange bulding, monetary donations, working with Foster families and more. For information on these projects, please visit the following: Family Activities Projects Page

	Duties of Pomona Chairman ... 1. Attend a regional conference with State Committee. 2. Make a short report at each regular Pomona meeting. 3. Promote all contests and projects within your Pomona. 4. Assist the State Committee when requested. 6. Send annual report to the State Director before September 15th.

	Duties of Subordinate Chairman ... 1. Report at each regular meeting. 2. Explain and promote all contests and projects. 3. Put on a program (or part of a program) for the Lecturer. 4. Encourage your Grange to contribute monetarily to the State CWA/Family Activities Projects. 5. Send copies of the annual report sheet to your Pomona chairman AND State Director before September 1st.
