Harmony Grange News for April

By George Ward

  APRIL 7, 2014 --

Our Secretary, Susan Sulier, who had a serious eye infection and still suffers from complications is improving and is now able to do some of the secretarial duties.

Our Spring Tag Sale in May will be discussed during our March meeting. We have many items to offer left over from other tag sales.

We have begun planning for our Agricultural Fair scheduled for August. Last year several local companies exhibited their products which were related to agriculture. We expect more vegetables, fruits, plants, canned goods, etc for judging this year.

Harmony Grange will be 125 years old this year. We are discussing the type of anniversary celebration to take place in either September or October. The event will probably be held on a Sunday and will be open to the public. Entertainment will be part of the celebration. We will have more information on this anniversary in the coming months.

Will warmer weather ever come? Even the sap from maple trees have been affected.
