We now have a Community Service sign-in sheet (soon to be booklet) for members attending in person to write down their hours since the last meeting. Some preferred to keep track at home on their calendars. We received Thank You notes for cookies and the Dictionary Project.

The new word was received and will be given out at our February meeting. An incentive check came from the National Grange for our broadband display using National’s literature at the Cornwall Agricultural Fair.

Debra Tyler is putting up her Scroll and having people come to learn about it. The Earth Scroll is 54 feet of block and leaf prints with calligraphy; chronicles the seasons of the natural world in New England and Jerusalem and a few paralleling human belief systems. Displayed “in the round” on a modified yurt lattice (designed and created by fellow Granger, Brent Prent Prindle) Earth Scroll creates an intimate space inviting study, contemplation, and quiet celebration. While it is set up in Taghhannuck Grange Hall, Earth Scroll artist, Debra Tyler will invite small groups of viewers to visit and explore ways to use it for promoting peace, as part of her online seminary studies.
